When you're spending money on an engine and for the labour, I think most people would pick how reliable the swap would be over how fast is the swap. You would want something reliable and looks decent. I have seen all kind of swaps happening at Bimmersport and they always end up with an amazing job.

Like everyone else said, its not about how long its about how good, and there aint no mechanics in town that can top the work that Charlie and Mustafa do. Keep up the good work boys.

Whats wrong with a FAST reliable shop?

I get things done right the first time, and you are right about its not about how fast the job gets done.

Quality not quantity, some people just work faster, there is no need to bash anyone here, and I don't appriciate people just assuming things...

Just finished another swap, clean, runs great, and I am sure the owner will agree.....

Okay folks, this isn't a war about which mechanic is better. Keep this up and this is heading to the Recycling Bin.

Both Bimmersport Automotive and RMP Motors are trusted mechanics for many Maxbimmer members.

If you have a reason for your preference (i.e. a job that was not done properly, or a job that was done beyond your expectations), then I suggest you start a new thread in this maXsponsor Feedback forum. If you would like to draw a comparison; then I would expect you have taken your vehicle to both mechanics with an open mind. I am sure many of the people who have commented here have not done that; you members know who you are, so please stop bashing either mechanic until you can create a fair comment.

Sorry, just read my own thread today!

Not sure, but I don't think these are the ceramic ones. I think the ceramic ones are the low dust ones?

These are the street/light track ones. Needed them for the track as the OEMs died the first time at the track. Glazed OEM brakes ---> not good.

Don't know why this got jacked into a bimmersport/RMP comparison. I've never been to RMP. I live in Markham; Bolton's kinda far for me in all honesty. Bimmersport isn't close either, but it's the lesser of two evils for me. But I've been to Bimmersport twice and am totally happy with bimmersport.

Yup it says you shouldnt take on more work then you can handle thats how things get missed (Like tightening the bolts in my flex disc after clutch install ) then charging me full price to fix it 2 weeks later.. thanx bimmersport.

No man, you comprehended vr6exy's statement wrong.

Let me clear it up for you, what he meant was NO ONE GOES TO RMP. They rather go to bimmersport

If you need me to clear up any other posts for u, just PM me.

Correction D.. only reason bimmersport has lineups is they were the only max sponsor mechanic for a while, so everyone went to them and some people are just not willing to try out other mechanics.. but those of us that HAVE tried out RMP know whats up and will continue to deal strictly with RMP, and also RMP does have alot of customers but, they just get you in, get u fixed, and on your way so theres no lineup and its never the same people comming right back in to fix "mistakes" unless they are comming from other shops to get the mistakes CORRECTED at RMP.

its correct what you said that bimmersport is a WELL KNOWN sponsor....but not because of that people are going back..its because they like the work being done...and their lineups arent people going to fix mistakes that have been done..its either for swaps or reg. maintenance...
i seriously wouldnt want to get in an argument and SHUT THIS THREAD OFF..the title was PROPS TO BIMMERSPORT...so lets keep it this way...have a great day bro

Whoa what a thread, I dont understand why people would be talking crap about the sites official mechanics. I had the chance to get work done at both bimmersport and at RMP and both did amazing quaility work. Also having two different shops allows people to have a preference to which one they prefer but there shouldn't be any shit talking about the peoples shops.

cant agree more...basicly the two shops could compete QUITELY...what i mean by that is both customers and owners just work on their cars, WITHOUT MENTIONING THE OTHER SHOP...and what ever comes out to be the best...will be on top...to the people in max..and in the streets... \/
