i saw a m540i today. it was in up state new york and had quebec plates. i was behind it and the rear lip looked correct couldn't get a good look at mirrors or wheels. it was black or dark blue. does any one know this car? is it a real 540i motorsport or is it fake?

there was an m540i, limited production, so it could have been real. I saw one today as well at a gas station. This one was black.

euro m3 you get more hp and ITBs.

E34 M540 vs E39 540
E34 = less power, less torque, less technologies, more likely your engine is ****ed, and that car has Ecsta 712, so whoever the previous owner was, is a cheap ass.

E39 = you can get same m-parallel, less likely your engine is ****ed, more power, more torque, and cheaper than that car!

seriously thou, its a cool car and all, but I'd much rather buy an E34 M5 for that price and spend some on mods.
