ok so it looks like a few people are interested
i'll call the place tomorrow and make sure they have everything everyone needs
then i'll try and find out how much shipping will be, and date they would arrive at.

acidsnow: usually aftermarket body kits are never pre-painted.
sorry

If it's to expensive I think there is a place that ships stuff from africa and only africa. one more thing do the rear spoilers from an e36 sedan or coupe fit on the hatch-back

I dont think the spoilers will fit the 318 Ti =/
you should double check though, maybe certain ones do, but i'm sure alot dont without modification.

Also I would like to add, if we do go through with this, it will probably be shipped to a harbour in canada (and i hope toronto, or some place at least within driving range like along the st lawrence etc)

I think it might be too much trouble for our american friends to pitch in on this unless they want to arrange their own shipping method?
i'm not sure yet.

Just doing a quick browse online and through the yellow pages i contacted a couple freight companies and sent them a price quote request. They said i should have a response in a day or two.

How soon would everyone want these items? Are we looking to buy right away or closer to spring time?

Myself personally, i'm in no rush, but again we should decide as a group.

Maybe we can split the group buy if we get enough people?

Split like this :
Canada and Near Canada groupbuy..

between

all-other-places-in-US groupbuy?

any other ideas?

i would have no problems driving up to toronto to pick it up if you have it shipped there, its only 1.5hr for me. yea i would be interested more towards spring time, my car is away now so a new body kit will just sit until the spring anyhow.

I'm in for a front spoiler for my E36. Hope it's pre-painted.

On second thoughts, after using the currency converter, I think I'll have a whole body kit.

I'm from the DTM forum.
I'm interested for a full M-technic body for my E30 4 door. Let me know about all the costs.

I can get you M3 kits installed and painted for around 900 CDN. If we get say 10 people.
