My 318ti
This will be my first post!
I have a '95 Dinan 318ti in Boston Green. It's chipped but rest is pretty basic.
[EDIT] I'm running on a full-size spare since the stock one was rammed into a curb when I spun out in the rain, coming off the ramp from 427 --> Dundas in early May. Left me shaking since anyone as crazy as I am would've done me in from behind!

I was running Sea Foam in the brake boost line, it's smoking like crazy removing all the crap in the engine.

My car smokes!

That's me in my baby.
Thanks for viewing. This site is great.

Dinan is...
Dinan BMW is a California-based tuner (one of the top in the industry). They specialize all sorts of tuning for your BMW (ECMs, superchargers, brakes, etc.). There are 3 Dinan dealers here in Ontario if you're interested.

I'm trying to figure that out myself since I only got it 2 months ago. Been trying to contact various Dinan reps here and the previous owner but no one has been able to provide me any info yet.
I'm trying to hunt down the original owner listed on the UVIP. When I know I'll let you all know!

I know it's chipped because I passed the stock governor's speed a few times (shhh! don't tell anyone!), other than that I dunno. To have a Dinan badge you need 10 points so with the chip I have 2. I'm still investigating to see where the other 8 points are.

You can usually find these badges on ebay, cause you get them free with the superchargers, and some people don't like the dinan badge!

My car is stock though, so I don't need a badge.

Worry less about Dinan and more about a Downing Atlanta S/C. Will make for a mean ass, fun car.

Looks like for the same amount of money I could spend on a DASC, I might as well swap out the engine for a m50 or m52. Then if I'm not happy with it I can always upgrade right?

White smoke by the looks of it.
Head gasket or cracked head.
I would worry about fixing this first.

Reading > you. He was seafoaming it.
DASC is the price of a M50 swap, and you get more power to the wheels, and keep the Ti's amazing weight distribution.

Yeah, you may be right with that! If I did go with an M50 and found it unsatisfying, I'd have to lay down some mean $$$!!!
Oh no, I already feel sorry for my wallet!
