my sister and i were talking about this today, and realized that honestly, everyone out there has had their heart broken...it's one of the worst things to have to go through, but in the end, you have to keep it together and get on with life...because if everyone out there gave in to feeling like shit, the world would stop...no one would have motivation to continue doing things they need to do.

also remember that there are many other people out there...and while this hurts now, in a few months you could be looking back and thinking, "why did i waste my time feeling bad over that" because you can have met someone who is worth having gone through this for.

and whenever you start feeling sad or missing her, or wanting to get back with her, remember this what you posted below, because it is ultimately the bottom line:

first of all i want to thank every single post in this thread. gotta tell ya there are a lot of smart and passionate people on this thread.
You guys made me sad and smile at the same time tonight. Not many people can do this. It's pretty amazing to think that i do not know any of you personally on this thread yet you still take time out of your lives to help another (me), im glad there are people in this world like yourselves, take a minute and thank yourselves for being there for someone else.

I'll never forget this, I was worried and embarassed posting this but i took a chance.

Wow...this is like Dr Phil on Max!!!! LOL Hey man, I'm sorry about your breakup...been there done that. ONly try and fix things if the feelings are truly mutual about trying to fix things cuz is she is not truly wanting to fix things and is onyl doing it for the hell of it, then you will come out of it even worse than you are right now. Either than that, just chill out and enjoy the summer theway you like it. If that means clubbing and banging chick...great, if it means chillin out with the boys, thats cool too.

Been in that type of situation too...did everything for this girl and in the end I got dropped. Felt like sh*t but I moved on through hanging with friends and going out. However, after that breakup and starting to date my current girlfriend, I was able to save up to buy my 330 in 1.5 years. Shows you how much of a money pit that Biatch was on me. Point of the story...look on the bright side...good things will come in the future

That's only a ****ing 1 hour drive. I live in Vancouver, and my girl is in Toronto. It's hard but we're making it work. If you can't make the effort to drive the 1 hour to see the girl you 'love?' then you deserve to have your heart handed to you.

I wish my gf was only an hour away, i'd drive to see her every day.
