Inspection I: brake fluid and coolant renew

Hi,

My service manual says
1. coolant needs to be renewed every 4 years, in conjunction with inspection.
2. brake fluid needs to be renewed every 2 years, in conjunction with inspection.

Did they change your coolant and brake fluid on your inspection 1? I did my first inspection 1 and both are not changed. Mine is 3 years old.

how do u know if they changed it or not? they told u or just by looking at them u think they havent?

I know because the service advisor told me what they were going to do. And actually all the things they performed are written in the receipt.

BMW Toronto did a coolant flush for me last year under warranty at the same time they did Inspection 1 (car was 3yrs also). It shows on the receipt as a separate job number from inspection1. I did not asked for the coolant flush, they just offered to save me a separate appointment.

They also wanted to do brake fluid flush but I declined because I flushed it recently with better fluid (Motul 600).
