Transmission problems

hey guy's. i got a little problem. a while ago the tranny on my 325 was acting weard. its an auto, and felt like i was driving on a high gear. at about 50mph+ it would be fine but when i would take of it would lagg a lot. kinda like i was drivin stick and taking of at 3rd or 4th gear. this only happened 1 day and ever since its been fine. what can it be... do i need a new tranny?? or just a tune up?

you most likely have an electrical problem.
get the computer scanned and see what codes the car is producing.
code 40 pressure regulator. is a very common one
speed sensors are also common

The original owner of my car had the same problem and had the trany rebuilt..however this didnt solve anything..it was an electrical problem. Cost under 80 to get it fixed.

Any chance you had the "M" button pressed? This will hold it in 3rd gear.
