The S60R has 300HP and AWD, not FWD.

The older 850s like mine, came with 222HP stock for the T5, and the T5-R had 240HP (same motor, more boost). The torque is what makes the motor impressive. Bolt-on mods for the 850 yield amazing results. Chip, intake and some basic ignition mods, you're up to and over 280HP+ and 300lbs*ft of torque easily. With a d/p and exhaust, you'll make 300Hp at the crank no problem. Of course, the most annoying thing about the car is wheel spin and torque steer (FWD). There is a AWD and RWD conversion kit comming out from a major tuner company in the US for the 850's, I'm seriously going to be looking into that before I get an 18T

Great engine, just don't understand why Volvo went with FWD.

BTW, the AWD kind of sucks too. All the traction aids cannot be shut up completely, so when you turn in, you still get understeer. It hooks much better in straight line, so all that power is not wasted.

The Volvo HPT models are no joke, they are no longer slow ass cars driven only by soccer moms.

Screw sleepers, you guys should take a look at the S40 T5 AWD, what a beautiful car. With a HEICO SPORTIV kit it looks downright super carish.

BTW, does that S60R belong to Frank Derks (owner of Euro Sport Tuning)?

I'm assuming your asking about the titanium one I posted...if you are...NO...it belongs to the owner of Foha. BTW...we know Frank too...really nice guy with some great products. I installed Frank's (EuroSport Tuning) air intake system and it sounds awesome when opened up at higher rpm. That air filter is enormous that came with the kit.

Almost everything I have on my car is from EST, except for the chip, I'm running an Upsolute. I'm waiting for him to complete my 3" downpipe as we speak.

That AWD must make a huge difference in terms of putting the power to the ground. I've go almost as much power as the S60R and I can't come close to the E46 M3.

BTW, if anyone needs anything from EST, I'm a dealer. Let me know, I'll get you better pricing.

U talking about the s60 R in the Video right

The Pics are s40. Anyways here is a video he sent me a while ago doing a sprint 0-200 kmh in 20 seconds with a chip/exhaust. 0-100 kmh in 5 flat
Pretty awesome for just those 2 mods plus doing that in a 4 door sedan that weighs 3600 Lbs
A stock M3 smg does 0-200 in aprox the same time actually 21.5 secs

check it out

Sisters got a T5 S70 and man that thing is fast as snot once you get that sucker on the highway. The speed just keeps climbing.

But i hate the FWD..... and i've been trying to figure out HOW they're going to make a RWD conversion kit, and it won't happen (if it does, it will cost MUCH more than its worth). The engine would have to be turned around, you would need a NEW tranny, driveshaft, diff, and half shafts!

Seems like too big a swap to sell to the public!
