Volvo S60R Vs E46 M3 *Video*

The s60R has a Chip only . The M3 is Smg & has a Dinan Intake and Dinan software.

Found this on SS forum. Pretty freekin fast for a Volvo. Btw- This Chip added 45-50 Hp not bad for $800.

Both these guys are my freinds . The R is just insanely fast for just a chip. Plus it's a automatic. This R also ripped a 2005 S4 last week but video isn't working. It's a pretty good alternative if you need a 4 door sleeper. I know most of you wil say "it's a cab" but this cab took a 6 speed coupe ( he has the video) plus it has some mods..

IMO The difference between a cab and coupe is very marginal. With equal drivers, theoretically the coupe should pull. In real life you cannot even cout 2 tenths of a second so a driver's error could easily make up that time.
Hence anothe reason why SMG is faster all the time.

I love my Sti but gotta give props to the S60R. He has a exhaust /intake/ downpipe on order which will give it close to 375-380 hp!! It handles insane too. He has front/rear sway bars and springs along with the 4 c advanced suspension it comes with

I really was going to consider getting another wagon looking exactly like that, but it's time to switch back to a BMW. I miss RWD.

It's going to be another year or two before I really get something, but I'm not saying. Nothing too expensive cause it'll be my first car and I'd like to save up for the Porsche down the road

I read about the S60R and it's capabilties the more I get impressed. A exhaust/downpipe and chip $3k will give you 380 Hp!! This car is pretty sick how come nobody knows about it?

I knew about it for quite a long time already. It's great that it has that much power, but it's a heavy car, and remember you're quoting figures at the crank, definitely not at the wheels.

I own a Volvo and I like them, but for that price range, I much rather get something else.

I have always loved the Rs and Volvos in general, learned to drive on a 850

My mom has had a 02 C70 cab high pressure turbo now for a month in a half, amazing to drive other then torque steer, but it is pretty damn quick with 236hp under the hood.

I love those S60R's.
They are great to drive, have very supportive and comfortable seats, actually the best seats for ALL types of driving.
It's amazing that you can select what suspension (stiffness) you prefer as you drive.
Here's my employer's S60R with the Volvo accessory body kit and a custom dual SS exhaust done by Raven. The muffler box was executed by Brullen and we used their tips and Raven put it all together. We made a custom fiberglass insert for the right side of the rear skirt for the exhaust tip to come through.
We also made a custom lower grille surround and had it painted to match the upper grille. This just finishes the front end very nicely.

You can spot those tips from a mile away. No one else can make a stainless exhaust as un-stainless as Brullen.
