if the price of gas is a concern, you cant afford to drive this car or any car for that matter. and if repair prices on a BMW scare you, go domestic.

im going to college this fall and i just dont want to be wasting a good portion of my money that i have been saving for the past 3 years on repairs and replacing parts... how much on repairs and parts do you think a car like this will cost between for the next 2-3 years (maybe 30 - 40 thousand km down the road)

I've owned mine since new in 1997 and have done only regular maintenance (Alternating Inspections 1 and 2) plus oil changes. Changed Transmission Oil once. That's it. This model is very reliable.

i know wat your saying about waiting untill im done school, but within a month or 2 (before september) i hope to buy a newer car anyways...and i always loved BMW's, but im too much of a worry wuss to pick one up... i will probably end up selling out and getting a '04 cavalier or sunfire or a '02-'03 sivic or acura...

honestly, the last thing you need is a car your worried about especially while in school. Already running late for that exam and your car breaks down. Not fun, let me tell you. It's a great car that is for sale. If I wasnt in the market for something else, I would pick it up. The 1.8 liter motors are built to last, but if your worried, go Jap or domestic
