Headlight Sprayers

So it rained the other day and i had to spray windshield washer fluid on my windshield. At the same time, my headlight sprayers sprayed. I look at my car today and there's windshield washer fluid on my white shiny hood.

PROBLEM: the windshield washer fluid seems to have stained my hood. I've gotten most of it out but you can still see a few subtle blue spots.

What can i do to fix this problem?

Clay bar or compound it.

Clay bar is easy but also really easy to screw up. Make sure you use the spray that comes with and wax after.

My brother had a demo car once, you could see the faint outline of the dealership stickers on the hood, the only way to get rid of it was to use a buffer and some compound. Clay bar wasn't abrasive enough...

Thanks for the advice man. I think i'm gonna give that clay bar stuff a try or i might let my buddy do it for me cause he details cars and all that. Thanks either way.

i'd just buff it, its easier. Use a wax cleaner, buff it in, and then buff some wax on.
