Angel Eyes Wiring possibility?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if someone could shed some light on this idea...

I wanted to maybe route the angel eye wires to the switch on the dash for the rear fog lights.

What would need to be done to do this?

I figure, since there's a hole for that switch, and I never intend on actually having rear fog lights, why not run the wire to there?

Any input?

I'd obviously need the switch itself, from the dealer. What else? How hard would it be?

It would be much easier to get a push button switch from radio shack, drill a hole there and wire it up. MUCH easier

Do a search, I think Justin did this with his E36? I'm not sure but almost positive, he had another switch in the car just for the angel eyes. Check with Aziz as well on his E46, he has a switch just to turn on his angel's...

well, im hoping justin will answer here, because i assume he has done something similar. and i know he plans on doing the rear foglight conversion on his car, so he probably knows more about how that switch is wired up.

Rear foglight button to turn on/off angel eyes? You're a bit late.. Razcal has the switch and has already started doing the exact same thing.

Yes, it's possible to do.

You'll need the switch, harness, automotive relay, and a bit of wiring know-how to do this.

My angels are hooked up to a relay, I wired them up differently. I have other switches mounted in my car to do other things.. (fold the mirrors, start engine button, brake light kill switch, etc.)

Nascar - depends on the year of your car, it could be as simple as swapping out your daytime running lights module, or it could be a little more complex as wiring up a separate headlight switch.

just tie it into your font fog lights
i have angel eyes and thats what i did ..but then again i dont have any fogs (have a hamann front bumber )

I just installed the euro foglight switch for the angel eyes operation.

Benny I can install and wire that in for you.
