Lately when i'm driving, my car pops out of 4th gear with some serious force sounds like i'm gonna drop the tranny. Someone please let me know so I can have this problem fixed ASAP

this happened once to me in 2nd, someone told me it was either A) a bad shift or a synchro problem. Since it only happened once i assumed misshift.

does it only happen when you accelerate?

This type of thing will only get worse. Worn out guides in the transmission.

Probably cheaper to find a used unit.

When you shift into 4th, take your time and make sure it's properly engaged. Make sure there is no debris around the shift linkage preventing 4th gear from fully engaging.

Repairing the transmission isn't really cost effective. If it happens a lot just get a used transmission as Darkness stated.
