Stupid door handle

I think this is a common problems on e36's? i think i heard this mentioned b4 that they break easy or something?

Heres my problem, it's with my driver side front door only. its a 2 parter with a weired twist.

problem one, i go to open the door and it will but the handle sticks out unless i push it back in.

part 2 with the twist. if my car is parked with the driver side door facing the sun, after awhile from the heat if i try to open the door, i cant, i pull the handle and nothing happens, i have to pull it about 10 times b4 it finally opens. this only happens when the door faces the sun... it has only been happening for about 2-3 weeks now.

any idea whats wrong? is it as simle as replaing the handle or am i going to have to take the whole door apart to fix something.

i have the problem of the handle sticking, but i just push it back in and everythings fine. do you think some grease would fix that?
