Need to go lower. need suggestion

Hi everyone,
I've got an '93 318is (planning to do M50 swap this next fall).
So I've got new rims and will need new shocks and springs to hide the ugly wheel gap. I've got about +/-1000$ to do the best setup I can... What do you think will be the best.

I was think about something like Bilstein Sport + H&R Sport springs
That look like a good deal...
http://www.performancepartsstore.com...ein%20deal.htm

So anyone have another suggestion?

How low are you planning on going? Bilsteins are great shocks, as for springs, it all comes down to the stiffness you want, and the height you want your car to sit.

The road in Quebec are the worst road ever so I will not go slammed so maybe the Eibach Pro-Kit is a good compromise.

With these roads, I know what you are talking about. I dropped 1.5" in the front and 1" in the rear, I have to watch where I drive and what not. Also my front bumper is stock and theres nicks on the bottom due to going into driveways and what not. I know you are putting on a after market bumper, so you might want to see how high it is from the ground and then decide on your drop after.

If you're looking for the combo you mentioned, contact Craig at Performance Parts Store. I ran a group buy this winter that I think he's still honouring... It was the best deal we could find anywhere! CRuark@greatlakesautosupply.com

After riding a few days and seing Vito's car with the "Race" level Bilstein, I'm a little jealous and may have gone for that... But the sports are riding nice!

The bilstein group buy was awesome. I think Craig can offer the prices for the rest of the summer still..
