I'm probably the luckiest SOB on earth. I was running late for my girlfriend's easter lunch/ dinner (linner?) and i had to get from markham to nobleton before 4:30 and it was 4. I started the drive down 7 to get to 400, everything was all good doing about 160 average. There were honestly no red lights and no cops were to be seen.

I get to the 400 north and i look ahead EMPTY! So i decided to give her a boot. Flying off the onramp, my foot has the pedal rested on the floor. Revs climb, the speed gets faster. So i finally reach were my gearing ends ( 4sp auto i know i suck) and it is at about 205 km/h maybe less. i'm holding it for about 1 minute then all i see by the canada's wonderland sign, A cop! ****!! I had no chance to slow down at all So i blew past him at lets say, 200 km/h!!i'm shitting bricks and so i keep my foot on the pedal and keep going, eventually slowing down when i realized that there were no cherries in my rear. Phew i'm one lucky bastard.

Go ahead and flame me, i know there are people here that will. I don't care, i don't usually drive like this but i was in a rush. Needless to say, I got there 5 mins late.

ya i know that feeling....i burried the needle on my old ZX7RR at 285 going from WOnderland ( 400 ) to just after finch.....it was also 2am....my buddy was in a car 2 km ahead of me....lol....oh the joys of speed

haha nice!!!!!!!! Iv done that more hten once too iv even managed to blow by one in a speed trap in a 50 zone doing 130 while he stood out in the middle of the road.

i've done that at a speed trap on mkm road... all the cruisers were busy and they guy was too slow to run to his car.

yeah i don't drive on 400 much so i didn't know theres a speed trap there most of the time

hey chris almost the same thing happened to me on the 407 many years ago, I was in my Lexus LS400 going about 195km/h when I past a speed trap, 1 cop had the radar gun on me & another in the cop car, when I past them they didn't move, I even checked my rearview & no cops, I was lucky

you'renot only risking getting a ticket and losing your lisence, you're risking getting killed too ! On an old car, i wouldnt trust going that fast !
