Hey Blackout, i think i bumped into your dad way back at the Shell station one morning on Winston Churchill and Unity Dr. He complimented me on my car and mentioned he had a 7series and son had an e36... wondering if that was your pops...

btw, where did you get your shifter? looks sweet.

Looks awesome... in fact, it looks almost identical to my car before I went into the bodyshop last year... the only thing different is I was running the stock mirrors still at the time.

Is that the wailen shift knob with your reflection in it? looks awesome, how do you like it?

Hey Bill Gates, that was my pops. He is really proud of his 7, and loves checking out the Max meets. I think that he was the only 7 series at one of the meets a few years ago ...

Thanks again guys, Justin, it is a Whalen shift machine. The only thing with that pic is that you can't see the //M logo engraved on it. I picked it up on Bimmerforums last year when I was buying the parts for my conversion. I must say that I love the feel of that shifter.

Little things that can't be seen is I have an m3 tranny with UUC light flywheel and M5 Clutch kit. Plus a Dinan chip I picked up from Bruno... So I am in heaven from changing from Auto to a nice 5 speed...

I picked up the Clutch kit from Charlie and the flywheel I picked up from Bimmerforums. Someone had bought it and decided to go a different route, so it was new in the box and got it cheap.

I will always be a loyal Bimmersport customer!

Only thing left for now is install of the M3 3 spoke wheel and find a nice set of Power Vaders...
If I may ask, how much did the 5 speed conversion run you? Love to do the same to my E46, but I doubt I could afford it.
