Is This The Real Problem?

Im getting a real harsh rumbling noise coming from the front end when i first start up the car or when it ranges from rpms about 1-2 and a little above. When its past that on the highway and what not it runs fine!
I've taken it to a couple of mechanics and one has told me its deffinatly a transmission problem but he wasn't exactly sure what it was.
I phoned up another guy and he said the pin in the transmission might be lose. Does this sound framiliar to anyone? Starting to really annoy me because I've had so many different answers.
My other problem is the coolant is low thing keeps coming on but the coolant is perfect on mark and is not going anywhere. I replaces the thermostat not too long ago when i was first having overheating problems but sometime i hear a bubbling noise coming from the front end.
Sigh
Well Im hoping charlie will be around thursday gonna give him a call and see if he will take a look im sick of the multiple answers just want the problems solved!

bubbling ? probably air still in the system.

as for the main issue i have no idea without seeing the car in person. its one of those problems that us armchair mechanics can only guess and guess at. at first i thought maybe it sounded like your clutch fan.

btw did you buy that car off a guy named Johnny, any more pics of it? looks familiar

Sounds like your exhaust is rattling on your car. Do you feel it from the car as well?

It looks like you're driving in the video.
When you rev the engine with the car in neutral / clutch depressed, does it make the same sound? If not, then it's definiately not a drivetrain issue.

baffles? i'd definatly say exhaust, it seems very constant when you change gears, which isn't what i'd expect from a driveline problem

Ok, No I Don't feel It When Im Driving Just Hear It.
Sometimes it sounds like it shorts out a little bit.
Yes It Does Still Make The Sound When In Neutral And Reving.

my buddies gti has that happen, every now and they he has to jack his car up and tighten the heatshields and such.

As stated if it does it in neutral it isnt ur drive train id think. Prob somtin with the exhaust as every says.

Jack the car up and have some one rev it a lil and peek under and look and listen

There are few units around your exhaust. Their main purpose is to prevent a fire if you drive your vehicle on grass, also it reflects the heat from reaching the passanger compartment. It is a reflective shield between the exhaust and car body. Your muffler is completley rapped in a heat shield.

Today i just started up the car after messing around with the intake a little bit and now it just starts up rumbles like crazy and shuts itself down putting the check engine light on and battery light!
Think I could have accidently hit something in that area that would make this happen or do you think that the problem i'm having has now completly become a big problem?
Crap My car needs help and im outta money im damned
Well any help to keep her runnin till i can get her to a garage would be helpful!
