Angry ACS rear bumper problem

I managed to pick up a rear ACS lip that has been molded onto an oem stock rear bumper so well call it a full rear for the time being ... it came off of a 2 door the entire thing and it seems to not be fitting at all! ... Do e36 rear bumpers fit both the 4 door and the 2 door cuz if not then im an idiot for trying the whole night to try andmake it work...its as if the sides arent coming in at all etc etc

Also, if the guy stuck it on with something what are the chances of me being able to pry it off in one piece and add it to my own stock rear bumper?

Oem fit should just be nice and snug so I dont know whats going on here

Thanks

hey maybe I can grab it off you, I trust you that you can't fit it, but it should fit. Is it too narrow or what...

it came off a 2 door ect etc i have a 4 like you...basically one side when mounted is bulging out and not tight near the wheel well...there has to be a way, but oem usually is straight bolt up you know...its in mint condition so its gonna be a shame if me or anyone on here cant mount it

Get someone to help you with the install, both sides need to slide on at the same time. It may not meet up with the wheel well right away. Go back and forth tightening the bolts on the left and right sides until it slides into place. Make sure the runners on the bumper slip on the rear quarter panel clip too... if it doesn't slide on, it'll make it bulge out on one side too. You may have to remove your tires and wheel well liners to gain access to these runners.
