Where to look for e36 328iS or M3?

Hi all,

I'm looking to buy a 97+ e36 328iS w/ sport package or a M3. My budget is $10,000 US or less. I've been scouring Ebay Motors and Yahoo Autos so far. Can anyone give me some more resources to help broaden my search?

I understand that 97-99 are the years to buy for e36's. Please correct me if I am wrong. Specifically, I'm looking for:

black 97+ e36 M3 manual
black 97+ e36 328iS manual w/ sport package

Thanks in advance,

Jon

I found a 97 M3 for $9300 US. Looked like a great deal until I did a vehicle history check. Two major accidents and a total loss on its record.

What is a more realistic budget for both the 328iS and the M3?

Thanks,
Jon

19-22 CDN for a 328is?!?!?! thats ridiculously high I think
25-30 CDN for an e36 me?? I dont have one, judging by your pic, seems like you do so you would know a lot better than me. but from what ive seen taht seems to high. especially 19-22cdn for an e36 328is, there aren't any that expensive in the autotrader!

Look for a 95 M3 from Arizona. I purchased mine in 2003 for $10,000
The good thing about the vehicle is that there is NO RUST!

Hey Darkness, since you've purchased your vehicle, have you run into any serious problems? I have heard a few horror storries of cars like M3's from the US. Anything major with the engine, and i don't mean things that are natural wear and tear, or that broke due to your abuse!
