Slipping timing now

I figured out where the compression was going. The timing was slipping. The gear on the cam is not walking, but when i hook the timing up and get about 140psi the car starts and then shuts off after about 15 secs of running. The compression drops to around 90. Then after taking the dist off the car is out of time. Any thing i am messing up with the tensioner? or anything else. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Mike j
