Question Market Price for 2003 E46 (325xi)????

Ok Guys .. this is kinda fun .. What would you think if someone sells their 2003 E46 325xi with Sports and Premium Package with 5000km mileage for CDN$28,000 ... and you are a close friend and they just try to get rid of it .. and you are the FIRST on their list ...

no accidents ...

Oh no .. the owner just was not in Toronto for 2 years .. bought the car in 2003, drove it for a bit .. and then move back home (Taiwan). So, the car's been sitting in the STORAGE for 2 years. The owner said the car will be tow back to BMW Dealership for maintanence and service before selling it to this close friend .. so .. no problems there ..

You have to be careful about cars that sit too long. Was fuel stabilizer used?

Before my bimmer, I bought a really low mileage 2004 Japanese make. On the road since Sept 2003, but with only 6K odo by Sept 2005. Owner was on extended trips back home overseas. I always had really bad gas mileage - 15L for 100km - almost as much as my SUV. I wonder whether the car's internals were gummed up with stale gas and caused such inefficiency.

Sounds like a great deal though.

agreed things like tires, suspension and tie-rods and all sorts of things can go to crap if they are not used or if the car isnt being driven. But I would say it is probably a good buy.
