VIS, probably the second worst company ive ever done business with.. them and certain headlight company, will never be in my good books and i will never recommend them. go to MAshaw, pay for better quality and better customer service. if you want the best than go to siebon.

Wait a minute...
You guys think that CF hoods look BETTER on black cars than other cars? I have a black 3.28is And i got hit by my neighbour, so i need new headlights and hood. Insurance covered. So i was considering either getting a stock hood, (700) and then i'd have to get it painted (200). However, if i went with an aftermarket CF hood (500?) i thought i'd be able to use the rest of the insurance money (3000) to get a nice m3 bumper. But i was under the impression that they look bad on black cars. Could you guys give me your opinion as well as if anyone has any pictures?

Thanks alot.

Many people feel that CF looks best on black cars for the simple reason that it is subtle. Hopefully Furious can post some bigger/close up pictures.

I think CF *can* really work on any color car, if you add a color tinted clear-coat on top...

500 for a aftermaket hood is gonna be very iffy. i really think, after all the trouble i went through if i had the chance id go back and would have bought a seibon hood. better in every way. the trunk.. i would have never bought period..

i really think they look better on black because its compliments the look more... here are a few pics, (sorry i cant find my closeups). mind you my car is not really black , its diamond swartz metallic so it almost gives that CF look already.

Mark I never saw the hood down, it looks sick. I thought the car looked good when it was on the hoist, getting some minor work done, with pieces all over the place. That first pic looks really awesome.
