Smoked tail lights - Yes or No

I can't decide if I like them or if they are "ricey".

looks so so with metal bumpers. I pertty much had the same orginal color as your's and i did the same thing. Then i got an all black e30 m3 rear bumper and it looked better. I personnaly like the all red tails. Best thing to do it try it out. Leave them on for a couple of days see if it grows on you.

It depends on the color of the car IMO.

On my red car they look the worst stock, so i am definitely blacking them out. But to tell you the truth, stockers look great on your car. (and the blacked out ones look kinda ricey on grey IMO) Plust you are going with an ultra sleeper look, so i say keep the stockers.
Also please leave the metal bumper, as i already told you once your car looks very classy with the grey color and the metal bumpers - just polish they and it will look ultra-pimp (in a good sense of this word).
Btw, i am also going with stock muffler for a while.

Tails

Thanks for the input,
I'm still deciding.

Alex, let me know before you black your lights out - I may sell you these ones if you're interested.

I must say that late e30 stockers are pretty ugly in themselves. i.e. they are too disproportionally big in comparison to the car's rear. Earlier ones were much better IMO.

Your best bet would be to get ones like on Jordan's car - clear ones. Those look the best on silver/grey e30s

Get MHW smoked or dont even try.

The only thing I would do is go all red, but i would never do a DIY smoked tails.
