power loss

i was driving my car today(93 325i) and accelerated and from time to time it started to not pull as hard as it used to, power kind of got lost somewhere. this all seemed to start after i cleaned my icv, when i pulled my icv out i pulled the pipe that goes into the intake manifold and its connected to some kind of plastic piece.
this piece came out and broke someplace on one of the flanges. after i cleaned the icv and put everything back.
i just slid it back into place and didnt think anything of it but now im beginning to think that maybe its not as tight as it used to be and some of the pressure is leaking out since its not clicked in place into the intake manifold.
any ideas?

no i havent checked anything yet, its been to cold and id have to take everything apart again. there isnt much room under the intake manifold if you dont take it off, plus its hard to see in there. could the hose or a bad connection cause something like that?

That part breaks very easily but it's only a few dollars at the dealer thankfully.
