I have a 95' e36 would both of these fit on my car? I know that the is says fdrom 92-96 and 97-98, but just want to make sure.

1) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-9...QQcmdZViewItem

or

2) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-9...QQcmdZViewItem

If yes, which do you think is better?

i thought in later years they made the grill wider around the edges but yet they would still fit earlier e36's....... why not just take the grill you have sand and paint it your self? thats what im doin this summer.

Later model grilles do not fit correctly into pre 97 cars.

I've got 2nd ones still in a box and can't decide whether to color-match or paint black.

I think if I color-match, I'll just do the outside edges, and not the vertical slats- leave those black.

thoughts?

Thanks for your opinion, I'm thinking the same way right now. I am leaning towards color matching it, but then, I look at my bumper and ///M mouldings and want to color match them as well. And if I do that, then I want to color match my diffuser and lip, and then if I do that, then I want to color match my door handles, then my windshield washer nozzles...

...but then it will look too "dipped in a can of paint", as my dad puts it, for a car of that time period. I dunno. I already love it the way it is, maybe I shouldn't mess with a good thing.

the debate in my mind never ends!
