exc. sport suspension? w/sport suspension ?

Hey guys,
so im on my rampage again, the shocks in the car are feeling a tad bit stiff, and the car itself has high k's and i was looking in the service history of the car, and to what i have found, the shocks were never replaced.....

I then went onto the computer to price myself out a set of monroe senstrac shocks, and shock mounts all the way around, my price isnt all that bad, and if i do get them from my work, lifetime warantee
so as i opened up the screen, it gave me a whole whack load of shocks and to my surprise, the cost of the shocks with "sport" suspension was actually lower in cost then the regular one ? now this might be a newb question (i hope im forgiven since i am still a bimmer newb) but wouldnt it be more expensive for the sport suspension as opposed to the non- sport suspension ? and what would be the difference ? ( i wish we kept these in stock, but like anywhere else, why would you keep stock on something you dont sell often ?)

Thanks in advance for all your input

Usually when the shocks are worn out- your suspension feels too soft...not too stiff...
