Just put my AA Gen 3 Exhaust on!!!!

Hey guys I finally got it on, it was sitting in my families garage for about 2 months now. Its sooooo nice, not too loud but a nice deep rumble at low rpm and at idle. When you step on the gas, the note is a deep one rather than annoyingly loud. But I have a question. After I got it one and got back to the house, since it was raining a little bit, I could hear some sizzling when water contacted the tips. Guys it gets so hot man, Im a little worried. Is it supposed to get this hot?? It isnt contacting my back shirt so Im not worried about it melting anything but I dont know.....Tell me guys is it supposed to get this hot? Thanks!

Its nothing to worry about. Your exhaust is warmer because you are pushing effectively more gases through it, especially if you drove it hard. Give about a 1/2 inch gap between your body and the exhaust and you will be fine.

It's alright mkgino...
That's cause cold water is hitting a hot exhaust tip, therefore it sounds like it's cooking some eggs

Im gonna put up some pics tomorrow, and maybe a video. Its an amazing exhaust. The note is very deep at low RPM's and it makes the car sound mean. I love it!!

It sounds soooooo nice, I really like it. When I was looking for an exhaust, I didnt want to get one that was gonna be too loud, and I heard that this one wasn't too loud. I havent experenced any loss of low end torque, but its hard to tell if there is more power, I mean I was the one that test drove a 330ci and couldnt feel a power difference from my 328is.......But I recommend it to anyone who wants an exhaust. The install is a straight bolt on, and was very easy to do. Big thumbs up!

Well I got it straight from Active Autowerke in Florida for $649 USD or about $1000 CAD shipped. They were having a promotion, where you get free shipping for the month of august. Luckily I have family in the states and I was there this weekend so I ordered it to there house and put it on there. Guys if you order one, dont pay to get it installed, It was the easiest thing in the world to do. So no taxes or anything. It was well worth the money, I love it. When you start the car it has a deep note that gets deeper as it gets to optimal operation temp. The cheepest place Ive seen it for now is KO Performance which has it for $600 USD unshipped http://www.koperformance.com/bmwexhaust.html

you bastard I paid 150 more + 40 for installation

Yeah I know it is very eay to install but without any tools and without any place to lift your car it is not that easy

Sound will be lower after it will brake it.
Also from the inside it is not a big difference, ask someone to drive your car and you just stay outside, you will like it even more
