E36 interior wood trim
hey guys,
i noticed that some E36's came with some interior wood trim pieces. i was wondering if someone could tell me which models came with it, and which did not. or was it simply a factory option?
second question... seems like there isn't THAT much trim in the models that have it. have a look at THIS picture. looks like the only pieces there are, is:
1.above the glove box
2. in front of the sunglasses slot
3. shift selector (for the automatics... which is what i have)
4. trim around base of shifter area
did i miss any?
and last question... is it hard to put these in, if you dont have them?

what colour is your interior, spooner?
and how do u know there is more trim on the doors? does yours have wood on the doors too, spooner?
what other options were there, other than wood?
and obviously it wasn't only M3's that had that option...

I think all ive ever seen was either wood or none at all. as for the doors, i never saw any trim on them other then a 2 tone door panel, usualy comes with a car with a 2 tone interior.
my interior is all black, seats dash everything cept the head liner and pillars wich are beige (soon to be dyed black)
and my wood trim consists of the small panel above the glove box, my shifter (auto), the trim around the shifter, the sun glass holder and thats it.
Id prefer an all black enterior and no wood, which is why after i move the wood is gone and its brushed aluminum or something of the sort. If i can remove and replace it all ill offer my wood trim to anyone who wants it, cept the auto shifter cuz its cracked (due to heat)
heres a pic of my interior (b4 i did a radio swap)

WOOD TRIM FTW!!
I dunno, but I really like the wood trim - especially on black, moden, or magma
I believe that in the e36 the wood trim was optional and after a certain date, all 328i had it standard (?). I dunno, I think I read that somewhere
It came on the lower console/shift surround
In addition to the glovebox piece, and the ashtray and sunglasses holder piece too, and shifter and handbrake
The M3 Lux package added wood trim to the door puls
This is the best combination ever:
