Yup, your engine had 185HP with a cat, and cat less would deliver 218HP

The 3rd gen delivers 211 with cat and 220 cat less.

Your engine suffered the most restriction with a cat than all three but is the most favoured engine to turbo charge since it has a lower compression ratio.

Wow must hurt. Got a fair price from insurance for it? I had an 1989 Jeep Cherokee Laredo Sport with a 5 speed gearbox as well, best fun truck. Only sold it and got a mini van (looser cruiser) because I needed more room to transport airplanes.

I told you your brakes were bad and if I knew I would have given you a set of Hawk HP plus for free

I hope you never come to Ottawa unless you have good brakes

Happy you like the Hawks, I have sold a few sets to some guys here and they love it on the track. One member bought a set for his daily e46 330i and like they way they bite as well.

Mike, one more person wanting a ride and I have to convert it to a stretch limo

I am a bit behind, but getting there. Hoping to paint the engine by soon to start routing stuff in preperation for the e28 rad, big electrical fan, intercooler etc.

Looking forward to Calabogie especially since I have the track mastered on the simulator.

Will be you spending more time here soon or still back and fourth. Guess you have stuff to do on your e30 as well.

Thanks for the comments Bud and hope to see you guys around soon.

Great idea Paul, it would be nice to hook up with you guys and your cars after yacking on the forum all winter

TO is not that far, we can make the trip, but my arse might be ache since I will be going with rigid bushings and suspension components.
I remember one guy's expression saying a long ride on stiff rigid suspension will vibrate your fillings out and rattle you kidney stones to sand

We should look into it for sure though.

Thanks for the suggestion and lets keep it alive.

Was thinking of Kingston, with a nice view close to the water and room for all the cars.

There is a nice, clean, cheap Motel we use when we go flying close by. It's on a road called Wilton, we nick named the Motel, the Wilton Hilton

We can organize a nice BBQ some drinks and head home the next day, unless you guys prefer a one day event.
