Rear emblem has got to go!
Another question....Other pic is of side badge on M side moldings...does this M just come off?? Does it leave a scar?? What to put in its place on the side molding??

I guess I'll just de-badge the rear and side moldings. No badge is better than false advertising.

1. rear badge can be removed with some dental floss, then cleaning up any glue residue. you can do the badge delete till you find your 325i badge. I'm sure there are members on this forum that'll sell you their old one. A lot of people debadge their trunks.

2. The side badge ///M is in the moulding, it does not just come off. You have to remove the entire moulding strip, then take out the emblem from the back.. but it'll leave a hole. There are other badges you can buy such as "BMW Motorsport" badges.

Note that neither of these badges say your car is an ///M3, they just say it's an M (motorsport) car.

//M stuff doesnt belong on non m cars in my opinion. Other then front seats. But to each his own, everyone on here loves that kinda stuff, so they will all tell you to keep the molding (but lose the rear badge) and yell at me for saying this but o well

Thumbs up

thanks for the opinions!
Vadim...thanks for the nod on the rims.
I bought the car for the overall look...not the M badges. Had a 5er (RIP) and wanna try a 325 as a daily driver and thought this one was a nice balance of business and pleasure...

M front bumper/ 17" motorsport double 5 spoke with 225/17/45 yokahama's/ dark metalic grey (easier than black to keep clean)/ lowered but not slammed and M side moldings...not overdone IMO (being over 40 I am not trying to compete with my 19yo son and his rice burner)
Pending changes/ upgrades:
loose the M on the tail/ add clear corners/ EAT chip/ window tint/ M sideskirts

Rims need re-clearcoating (still have to pull one off to see if they are OEM or knock-offs) as the clear coat is patchy...but no pits! If they are OEMs will get them redone, if they are knock-offs I will clear coat them myself...and I love the rubber

So...did I miss any upgrades to make my ride...nice, clean and business friendly?

Thanks again for all of the advice on the M badges!
AndyE34...now with an E36

Nice ride I have yokahama's on mine...same size, i dropped it 1.5" and 1" and have to admit cause of the camber in the rear -2 degrees i only got 10,000km out of the rear tires...sucks big time...camber kit is $400..so i might get one of those. Saying your son has a rice burner, that's awsome, at least i won't be the only one saying it to my son when he's older lol....

P.S. some of my family live in Bomanville on rhonda blvd....

I live close by just up from the Downtown, Rhonda Blvd. is very close by (as most places are in Bowmanville...LOL)
As for my son and his rice burner....even so I am wearing off on him...he likes a clean look (he has a Honda CRX slammed and shaved but no ricy ground effects etc.) but the interior, well lets not go there)
Yes I hear too much of a drop can cause major tire wear if the camber is not adjusted...that sucks! I have to check the shocks but I think they are Bilstein, not sure of the springs? my drop seems moderate but just enough.
Also have the M3 mirrors (colour matched)
Thanks for the , your ride looks are those the other M3 wheels....nice, BTW where did you get the clear corners?

IMO, if it's got the sport package, you can put as many M badges you want on it (minus the number).
