1602 restoration progress
It's been a while since I've done an update. Block is now machined with new timing gear and chains almost installed, new oil pump, sump is painted and head has new valves, seals etc. Waiting on piston rings then should be ready for final assembly.
First picture is of the crank installed.

Looks good. Nice to see the old stuff being saved. Wish I had the garage/money to restore one.

Progress
Motor should be done in a couple of weeks. Received $1400 in parts yesterday. Window and trunk seals, new Bosch headlight lenses, trim clips etc. Weather is supposed to be nice this weekend so maybe I'll make some progress. Goal is to have the car on the road by late April.

I love the way freshly assembled refurbished parts look. And doing it all the right way makes you feel good LOL
Any Korman parts in there or just standard OEM parts?
