I love them!
and just for "you" to know, even if you take off the trac, it is still partially engaged.......BUT there is a simple way to disengage it fully (I believe a fuse)
Helllllllooooooooo 345hp!

Nope. I almost bought my dad one a few weeks back... I had to do a lot of research first. They're having a lot of failures and faults already. There has also been a lot of critisism on the sloppy suspension, and muddy brakes. Drive one for yourself and you'll feel.. those brakes feel like they came off an Echo. Customers are having major alignment issues unresolvable at the dealership, and the 2.7L engine has a oil sump problem that can lead to premature engine failure. There have not been many complaints about electrical problems, or quality control problems. My advice is to either don't buy a used one, or wait a few years till all the problems get ironed out.

^ funny thing is...it's a Mercedes E class underneath...
But hey, American cars will be american cars...just don't go in expecting Japanese quality...expect American quality...
And the HEMI will BLOW the doors off practically anything...not to mention it's probably the most bling american sedan you can buy...i'll take one

Hemi Justin.. not the 2.7
But in reality to all this bashing you do of a non-bmw, its a 3700Lb car, of course it wont stop and/or handle, especially comming from Dodge. I am in fact the biggest dodge guy out there, I love the product and I am not saying the 300 is perfect, but every car has their problems.
If you want it to stop and Handle get the SRT. It has brembo's...ohhh

Would've got a bashing if it was a BMW or not. I was ready to drop the money to purchase the 2.7L (6 quart), and now I'm looking elsewhere. I wouldn't put a family member in a vehicle that will not stop, or be able to handle well enough to avoid accidents due to weight and a sloppy suspension.

ya the suspension is crap. The thing maneuvers like a boat... In a straight line, when you hit the gas, that thing roars, but a slight turn and the thing feels like its going to tip...

All I know is people were getting SCREWED over by who ever. The fuel rail would leak and the dealer's wouldn't tell people that there is a recall on it. Bend Me Over some more. Hey Do you remember back in the 80's when Chrysler big wigg's would wreck a car and have it fixed and then sell them as new. Yup it was the K car and the 600. Gotta love detriot.

Had one as a rental a few trips back, Made more noise then go IMO (reminded me of a Crown Victoria).
Was easily able to watch the gas gage go down at speeds close to what I'v only experienced before in a Durango. Full of blind spots too too add to the typical sloppy american suspension setups I'm unfortunatly getting used too with all the rental companies in Canada.
I like the Vic way, way more to drive.
Must admit the 300 is a slik looking car though.

well my dad got it for a night to try it out ...
I just spent that last hour beatin it up a bit ... all i can say is WOW ...
FAST FAST FAST ! for a huge car it pulls and with traction control off it BURNNNS rubber down the street...
On my gtech it pulled a couple 5.7 0-100 km... damn good for a big car.. and the highend is even sweeter....
The drive is super smooth... YES the susp could be better does sway on turns but what can you expect from a 4000 lb beast..
As justin commented the BRAKES do suck.... need some brembos or some better pads ... who knows i just know they feel spungy...
Interior is pretty nice for a chrysler .... Ive seen alot worse ... lots of nice features...
Exterior is also amazing as almost everyone would agree....
Heres a pic
