Spring rate question

Hi, I want to know what's the OEM spring rate(kg/mm or LB) on our E36 and I'm thinking Ground Control's rear coilover conversion kit for my car but don't know what spring rate is good for STREET yet i want little bit stiffer than OEM

I've heard for FR car like BMW a good combination for spring rate is 25% less than the front spring so ex: front: 1000lb spring rear: 750lb...am i right?

and what's better? progressive or linear?



i searched "spring rate" to find some number on this but i couldn't find anything...please help!

i found this E36 M3 for Eibach spring if anyone need it
For the '95 M3 springs:
F: 122lb/in
R: 440lb/in

For '96+:
F: 136lb/in
R: 440lb/in
