engine suggestions anyone?

i have a 89 325is and right now i think its time for my engine to go. everything is stock and it has about 410 000 on it and i was wondering am i better off having an engine swap to another m20 engine or put an e36 engine? a rebuild was also on my mind aswell but seems i might need more money considering im on a tight budget. dont think its worth it after i tried turning my car on and i wouldn't here a thing.

... any suggestions?

it all depends what you are looking for and /or how much of a budget your looking at spending.
rebuilding the m20 motor will be cheaper than doing an m50/s50 swaps in your car. but the m50 swaps are fun in those chassis.

pm me if you would like to find out how much each suggestions will cost.
thanks

dave

mabey im just better off finding all the parts wrong with the engine and just fixed that up as it would mabey most likely cost less as i also have the parking break to work on. i basically need a set price for everying. you never know... mabey i still have life in a m20 engine over 400k
