New Tires

Any suggestions on tires for an OEM rim (i.e. 15" Basketweaves)?
I am thinking about getting a set of Potenza G009's (all season high performance tires) just becuase I am getting like a 50% discount on them.

Toyo Proxies come in about 10 flavors. From shit, to shitty, to somewhat shitty, to decent, to good, and to great.

Toyo T1S and T1R are the only good Toyo street tires. RA1's if you want DOT legal slicks.

I'm putting 4x 245/35R18 T1R's on my car shortly

Proxes 4 are great tires, my buddy used to have Michelin Pilot Sports and he likes these better. The T1R's are nice..............

Jordon it is a all season not a full performance tire. Most guys with their e30s do not want a full performance tire nor have the money for them as well. Do they even make a T1R in a 15"? Found them and they are $100 a tire for 225/50/15. The T1Rs are not good in snow or wet sometimes. good thing you are in TX.
Here are the reviews on the proxes4

T1R is offered in many 15" sizes.

The tires he is looking at I wouldn't put on a lawn mower.

Hell the T1R in 225/50R15 is only $102. Thats pocket change man, and hardly more then the junk ass tires he is looking at currently.

I agree with you on a good performance tire but not all of us are so lucky living where it does not snow.

Ever hear of something called WINTER TIRES? You know, the tires you use in WINTER, when it SNOWS? All the cool kids are doing it.

You can buy a set of Bottle caps for $100, and some decent all season or snow tires for another $200.

OMG its not that hard.

Shit I'm dropping $1800 on new wheels and tires tomorrow lol.

Name the "most guys" you're referring to. I don't know too many E30 guys driving E30's in the winter without winter tires.

Meaning in general I guess that is why I never had to deal with snow tires, I just keep 4 cars and a suv around so I do not have to deal with it.
