i am pretty sure E30 people would go for it, but only if the whole swap would be either easy enough to DIY it (as easy as m/s50 swaps) or cheap enough to pay someone to do it. I know i would.
I bet LS1 swap would require quite a bit of fabrication.

Ohh yes there is alot of things.
nothin to do @ work, i sourced a motor in LA with only 80,000KM on it with a 6speed tranny for 3200US. which is a really good price for a 99 Corvette motor
Which put out More HP/TQ than an S54. am sure its about the same work to swap an s54 Motor in an e30.

hate me all you want, but its not a bmw motor so it doesn't belong in a bmw.
go for the new n65 motor or whatever it is...the twin turbo for the e90.

btw, zimmie, pm me when you find out if you can do the bulbs this weekend.

^^ You mean it's not a chevy wrapped around the engine... wrong chassis, not wrong engine!

I'd love to do an LS1/6 swap into an E30... that would be a fun machine.

Someone find out how much to do it! Who can do it?
