Tint Question

What is the legal limit in Ontario for the fronts/rears as well as the rear windshield?

And this may sound retarded, but does the higher % mean darker or lighter?

The percentage is the amount of light allowed to pass.

15% is darker than 35% and also illigal.

I know a while back, the limits were 35% for windows behind the driver, the fronts could be 50%, and you couldnt tint the front windshield. I believe it has changed, but stayed within the same ballpark of numbers.

Nice....thanks.

I want a consistent tint all around. I'm thinking 30% all around would look great.

I just wanted to know how much I'd be breaking the law by

what % are limo tints?

30% should look pretty black, and difficult to see in right?

WTF...man Quebec sucks for tint....70% in the front,(Mines at 15% all around) you get caught with more then that and it's a $100 fine(minimum) and ripping your tint off on the side of the road, but the back windows can be painted flat black for all they care as long as you have your side mirrors...

I am thinking of going 10% all around in my e28. a buddy of mine has 15% all around on his white Z71 and i think it would look a little nicer a bit darker, thats just me.
