i was just looking through my news paper and noticed a 1995 325i for sale. i called the guy and he said it has a blown head gasket. its got 160K miles on it. hes asking $2000 US. i might go take a look at it tomorrow. anything i should be looking for or watching out for. is the price good for whats wrong with it, i would still try taking down the price. if it is just the head gasket, how hard is it to do on these cars.
It's a @#%(@(#$@(#$((+#$)(#(_)^^%^%^&&%^ of sh#$ to do, and u need a special tool for the cam shaft. If u take it to a shop it will cost u just as much as a engine swap. 2G's USD was not bad no wonder it went. Some mechanic or dude who had access to a shop prolly bought it. I heard it takes like 15hrs to tear down the engine just to get to it. There's someone on here selling his 92 325i for 3 or so g's. Check the for sale section!
