I got smoked by a Denali

Well I was driving the other day, with a freind. There was a nice Denali next to us. Modded a little, I could definately see HIDs, wheels and a bit of other body worked. Black, tinted, looked really nice. Badges on the car were re arranged to say "Denial", thought that was kind of cool.

I was just driving normally but then he started going fast, so I sped up to see if he wanted to play...

There was a red light up ahead though, with a car in the left lane. He was first in the right lane so I just went behind him. We both gunned it on green but damn there was no way I was catching up to that.

Next light I had to make a left so I was in the left turn lane and he was beside me, I rolled down the window and said nice car. He was like "you're lucky this is not my summer car" and he raised his arm and it said "Corvette" on his sleeve.

There was a chick in his car too so I probably just got him laid.

Oh, and I asked him the HP and he wouldn't tell me, he said it's the "super sport" edition (he also had SS bandging on the car). But I'm pretty sure that doesn't exist...so yeah..

The guy had to be at least 35 years old, he actually had to take off on me 3-4 times before I realized what he was doing. I just couldn't believe some guy in a beige minivan was trying to race me.

From 70 up to about 150 I probably pulled less than a car length on him.
