I'm looking to sell my e30 to get back into aircooled vdubs -
Small tail-light 2 owner car (3rd, but first 2 were father/son).
I have 90% of the service history.
Runs like a top
232,000 km (top end redone by BMW just before 200,000)
Zinnoberot red on black/grey houndstooth interior (bolsters on front seats have been professionally redone)
14" basketweaves on almost new Falken 512 Ziex's
14" steelies w/snows
Needs nothing for cert and e-test
Things I've done in the past 6 months -
Replaced metal sunroof panel
Driveshaft center support
Brakes (all 4 corners, and front calipers)
Tires (the Falkens)
Blower motor (2 weeks ago $600 part)
Intake manifold gasket (last week)
The heater core was done recently as well
I haven't done the math, but the receipts from the last 6 months probably total close to 3 grand
Things that are wrong with the car -
Drivers door lock cylinder is out and needs replacing
Drivers door interior handle works, but the plastic is broken
I have the centercaps for the basket weaves, but they're in rough shape (the platic part, the metal part is OK)
I've taken the glove box out, and it needs some help in the rear mounting area
The silver spots in the pictures are where I've put some rust-bullet, and as you can see, the passenger side fender has a hole in the bottom, and the panel where the license plate lights attach has the holes rusted out, so that needs some attention. The paint itself (save the RB spots) is in pretty good shape, and would buff out nicely)
Other than that, it needs nothing
I'm looking for $3500 FIRM
, or would trade for an aircooled VW.
