Whats the difference between a normal HRE wheel and an R series wheel, other than the price?

ex. 540 vs. 540R

thanks

So I guess the R is for the reverse drop centre (ie having a flat lip). This sounds like a pain in the ass although it does seem to vary. Hmmmm not sure what to do now, I guess I'll see how bad it is on the audi.

Thanks Q!

R versions look good but they suck, as water gets caught inside the wheel and cause severe vibrations, I had HRE 441R, its horrible. Stay away from reverse lip wheels, and HRE is not a great wheel IMO for that price. OZ, BBS, and some others make a proper wheel with a flat lip.
