Tremblant is not for beginners, kind of like Mosport isn't for beginners.
There's St Eustache, Blainville, Napierville tracks. Do a google.

There is Calabogie as well, but that's a bit further, it's west of Ottawa.

Calabogie is not done yet, and who knows when it will be.

Calabogie Motorsports Park
Calabogie is apparently awaiting the FINAL (yeh - we''ve heard that a few times haven't we??...) outcome of their last hearing which took place the first wk of Feb.
They are still hoping (as are many of the car clubs) I believe to be open in July or August. You figure they cannot pave until at the earliest - late April/early May, then they have to let the asphalt cure for ~90 days...
Tremblant is not for newbies per se - Correct, (READ - no lapping days there if that's what you were thinking) ...although we have a number of schools happening this year (which are in fact open to beginners - who will all receive full professional instruction for about $500 CAD for the wknd). Go to the BMWCC Trillium web site or BMWCCA Boston Chapter web site.

You can ski there too? It is kinda creppy the way they hid one of the world's greatest racetracks so well that if you miss the little turnout you'll NEVER find it.
