Ran 14.5 @94mph with new mods :)!
ok i just got back from the quarter mile track, and i've surprised myself!
the best of my 3 runs was:
had horrible wheelspin all of 1st gear so i really think i could pull into the 14.3-14.4 with it
R/T. .163
60' 2.251
330 6.114
1/8 9.376
mph 75.97
1000 12.160
1/4 14.525
mph 94.19
this was on a 328is 5 speed with the below mods:
3.15 LSD, M50 Manifold , Fan Delete Mod Kit, M3 Catback, Stock Airbox Debaffle + K&N
car dynoed at 188whp with those mods so about 227 crank hp

Nice time, if u get some light dude who does that for a living u might get really low 14's cuz u got some decent mods and nice car. Here are some stock times for 328's. If your 328 is a 96 or 99 then ur 328 is way ahead than a lot of other 328's. If it's a 98 then ur car can do even better than what u posted. Just my 2 cent's.
1996 BMW 328i Sport 6.4 15.0
1998 BMW 328is 6.2 14.7
1999 BMW 328i 6.9 15.2

you probably got this times off the first page that comes up on goggle when you search for 1/4 mile times. A 328 runs low 15's.. not 14.7... also.. all year 328is's run the same, same with all 328i's..

^^this is true, there aren't really any mechanical or significant weight differences between the 96-99 328's to make one faster then another. The only exception I can think of would be the rare 96 328 with a LSD.

how hard will it be to break into the high 13's? What other mods would you need done, apart from the ones mentioned and excluding supercharger/turbo?

How to run 13's with a BMW in 3 easy steps:
1. sell BMW.
2. buy POS early 90's mustang 5.0.
3. run 13's all day long and stare at left over money in bank account.

I'll let you know in the spring
I'm shooting for 13.999. 14.19 is my best so far with a lot of wheel spin.

why is the sport like .2 seconds faster? my car's a sport package, that doesn't change anything! the diff and engine are the same, and i dont see stiffer springs gaining a .2
