Bosch Ellipsoid headlights for E36
I'm looking for a part # - preferrably the Bosch part # for this. Does anyone have one of these on their E36? I know their expensive as hell from what I remember.
Anyone know where I can get info? I've searched and I keep getting their reg. US style headlights. PLASTIC crap!
Thanks

Check out ZKW also, they're also OEM and slightly cheaper.

I'm looking specifically for the Bosch part #. Reason is....I may be able to get a set for COST! Yes COST!!!
So thanks for the RealOem site and ZKW recommendation Vlad and Nelson. But I'm being very specific here.

Rampage - those are the BMW part #'s. I may have to call BMW and see if they can cross-reference that number in their system to get the Bosch #.
thanks

nice
Vlad,
I think that's what I was looking for. Seems like a lot of digits though, like BMW #'s.
The non-ellipsoid #'s below are the reg- US/Cdn style headlight units I think. I've seen them on the web.
I'll check out those other numbers you gave me though.
Thanks!

They are US style, but they are glass, they dont have that ellipsoid in them and use H7 bulbs.
Those numbers are straight from the BOSCH catalog. I checked some russian parts sites and numbers are the same.
Those are actually newer design, what we buy here in USA/Canada are actually older versions of E36 headlights. No idea why BMW ditched ellipsoids and then came back to ellipsoids in e46.

sweet
PERFECT! Thanks Vlad! Will let you all know if I can get prices for them! I know someone at Bosch! Now we'll see if he can hook me up. Or if the price is worth it. I don't expect a crazy low price though.
