Which colour to Powdercoat Calipers

Ok,

They're off the car and going to sandblast/powdercoat next week...

The clips will be red, but I'm torn between doing my calipers and guides black or a dark grey...

Thoughts?

I personally dont like calipers being painted. I do like the red clip though, if you must paint, why dont you powdercoat it silver.

i wish to keep my vote confidential

but since there are a total of 3 votes at this time, and mirek & sloveniaboy have announced their votes, it seems mine has become known to the public.

damn you voting system!

it's a hard discision but I chose dark grey, I was planning to get red calipers when I get a BBK but notice that red calipers on a black car has been played out, so I'm going for a set of yellow calipers instead

Dark grey

When I rebuilt my calipers back in the late 90's, I went with red because I liked the way red Brembo's looked behind a nice set of alloys (could not afford Brembo's at the time)

Then came the RICE movement...that buggered everything up for me...everyone starts spraying red everywhere.
Shortly, I will change to dark grey from Folia Tec. Very nice product and durable if you don't want to dismantle your calipers from the car and send it to powder coating.

Are your calipers ready to go or do you still have to remove them? I'll post the shop's contact and you can call him... I don't think doing it at the same time will make a big difference... The pricing is good as it is anyways.

I like the black.
But just to throw something in the mix, how about some white text that says "BMW", kinda like what Porsche does.
