Performance parts....Any good places or sites?

Are there any places around toronto which carry performance parts for E30's?

I'm looking for a cold air intake, racing chip, exhaust etc...

Also other accesories like Smoked hella ellipsoids, MHW tailights, a cluster board and accesories for a cluster guage.

Note: I heard a the intake sold by BMP is good, any thougts on it.

For the intake, even with a heat shield your not going to see any results on a dyno and certainly arn't going to feel any. Chips should be ordered direct from the makers, go with MarkD. I've driven in cars with MarkD and conforti and the markD is nicer. Exhaust can be bought and installed from any muffler shop that deals in custom exhausts which is practically every one. Just make sure you let them know it's not a honda, otherwise expect it to sound like they just put a bunch of BB's in your tailpipe.

CAI is purely for sound. That being said, an M20 sounds awesome on induction once you crank up the RPM's.

hey axxe i know that the stock air box is better for performance but does that mean with sticking a cold air intake in there will i lose performance? keep in mind i have the MAF sensor upgrade.

^ Alan,

Im pretty sure there is no noticeable loss, its just that people say its not a worthwhile change to CAI because there is no gain. However I have one just b/c I got my hands on it, it doesnt hurt the car nor gain, and yeha sounds good. However Im pretty sure realists will show you that stock is more efficient and has a slight free flow advantage. There was a post about it in here recently where Jordan supplied tons of charts, comparisons and info. pushing that stock was overall superior, but its not a huge deal.

I have a spare stock airbox so I drilled a shitload of holes. Sounds awesome, and in the winter it doesn't matter anyway, air is cold. Just remove the behind shield behind the headlight to get more air (and salt).
