'New car smell' includes toxins!

Everytime you inhale air unless your in a sealed room that has been staralized you are brething in toxans.

Some folks like that new car smell, but personally I like that old leather and woody smell that one gets when entering a jag or rolls, if thats toxic let me have it now I need it bad.

yeah graham i know what you mean, before i cleaned my car it smelled like cohiba's

wow thats a nasty smell , what did you use to get rid of it? don't mention cigars around me , month 3 and cohiba free ,dam fine smokes but health will suffer. Did replacing the micro filter in your car help? or were more drastic measures involved?

I didn't replace my microfilter, but when i FINALLY get my car back i plan to, that will be the last step. Basically what was used was a LOT of different cleaning agents on the vinyl, some armor all basically everywhere. I shampoo'ed the carpets, and cleaned the leather with leather cleaner about 5 times. You honestly at this point wouldn't be able to tell that both I and the previous owner of this car used to smoke in it.

(graham congrats on the cohiba quitting, i've cut my smoking habit from a pack and a half a day to just the occasional social cigarette, except around car guys for some reason)

but i still smoke 2-3 cohiba or montecristo's a week when the money's good, or romeo y julietta's when im poor
