Your car is an '87, right? Slightly smaller fuel tank than the later cars (10 litres less IIRC). That's good for city, and good for highway if you drive "quick."

For best results I've found that accelerating "briskly" to the speed you want to travel, and maintaining that speed (less than 120 on the highway), I can average 12L/100 75% city. This is an average after about 22,000 km's from my 150km round trip commute.

Can't beleive I've already put 60,000 kms on my car in a year and a half.

10,000Km in a 2 months. go figure. obc averages out about 10.4L/100KM. city its called cruise control use it

i put like 4k since i got it ... yeah my tank is 55L, so i guess the KM per-tank are ok

haha, les than you. I also have a 320i, probably one of the poorest cars for milliage bmw made that year. I've got a mini 6cyl and the large 325i's get better milliage than I do, go figure. Faster, funer, and cheaper. God I need to do a swap.

it should be fine mine is a 325I 90 with a 62L tank and I'm getting 525km's in the city out off it. I've been told that I'm getting good millage.
