Should i get it? (fair condition red 1990 2dr e30 325i with almost 300kkm for $1000)

Hey

someone offered me the car (subject line) for a $1000 as is.
do you guys think it's worth it to buy it and part it out?
i don't really have a place to store it stripped, or own a tow truck.
the body is in ok condition, little rust hole at bottom of fender and rocker panels and bottom of doors have some surface rust.
shifter is kinda shot (feels very loose) but the car moves

so big questions is "Is it worth the trouble?" (to part it out that is)

i can possibly split the cost with someone and split the parts, work something out.

shoot me your offers

Thanks
Alex

heh, Trev, with such interest i am sure you won't have problems getting your money back from the part-out

Derek, take my advice and look into cheap sparco buckets (speed or sprint)
they are a bit extreme (bolstering and all) but you'll love them when driving agressive. I have a set in mine and neither my girlfriend nor my friends complain. They also take a bit getting used to.
